Alta Marie Young

Alta Marie Young was also a child of Anna Bodine and John Frank Young. She was born on January 2, 1897. Throughout her life she was never married and never had children. In the one picture you can see Alta standing outside her home when she was younger women presumed to be in her 20's or so. She is holding a cat and clearing posing for the picture. She is wearing a simple white dress and she seems to have her hair up in some sort of braid. As you can see she was dressed as a simple young girl, and as she progresses throughout the years her clothing changes as well. Previously we saw Alta Marie in a simple white dress while she was in her 20's. Now she is between 60 and 70 years old. You can see how the clothing has changed over a 40-year time span. Alta Marie Young is seen in this picture towards the end of her life when color pictures became known. Alta Marie Young live to be about 80 years old until she died on November 9, 1977. She is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Tallman, New York.
