The 1940's were an interesting time for women in the workforce. With many of the men being drafted or enlisting in the armed forces, women took up many positions once unheard of. ABEX in the 1940's employed women, especially in their laboratories. Unfortunately there is not much information on the lives and status of these female ABEX employees, but we do know that they contributed to the company at large during this time period.
